I have the honour to transmit for your informa-

-tion copies of correspondence as noted in the margin between the

Commissioner of Customs, Kowloon and District, and the Colonial

Secretary and the Lanager of the British Section of the Kowloon-

-Canton Railway on the subject of the payment by the British

Section of the Kowloon-Canton Railway of fees for extra work per-

-formed by the Customs Staff.

A copy of the correspondence has also been sent

to the Managing Director of the Chinese Section.
